B for Baby - Pals Blog Hop“B” for baby!

I began with a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to 11 x 4.25, scored at 5.5 and a layer of Emerald Envy cut to 4 x 5.25.  Then the stamping fun began 🙂 I used the background from You’ve Got This and inked it up with Emerald Envy, stamped off twice and centered (a little more towards the top) my image.

sentimentNext I added the sentiment from Layering Love on the right ⅓ of the layer. From there I stamped the baby carriage from Something for Baby but I really wasn’t feeling it…I thought it was too flat so… I went to work with my trusty Big Shot and the Babies First Framelits.

Grabbing my always handy Whisper White cardstock I stamped the baby carriage in Emerald Envy, and ran it through my Big Shot. I used dimensionals to adhere the carriage to the left ⅓ of the layer.

From there I then went nuts with hearts! I used Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and two of my favorite punches… the Owl Builder and the recently retired (boo hoo) heart from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack. Using a little glue from the fantastic fine-tip glue pen I adhered the hearts and I used one dimensional to pop up the larger heart.

Still thinking a little something else was needed…I took the AWESOME new Emerald Envy ruched ribbon and tied a little something, something to adorn the carriage and popped it on with a mini glue dot!

I hope you enjoy the card… I had a blast making it and already have in mind a mommy-to-be to whom I shall send the card, in the next few weeks!
