Brrrrr….
Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop!
While Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are actively ordering from the 2017 Occasions Catalog and earning products from the 2017 Sale-a-Bration brochure, we are also getting ready for the upcoming holidays. We are excited to share some fun winter-themed projects with you! Today’s Winter Wishes Blog Hop is filled with inspiring projects that feature each artist’s take on Winter. After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
Warm Wishes! As I lay in bed… totally freaking out that I forgot to post my card… I decided that my card did not really reflect what I wanted to showcase. So I did what any “normal” person would do… I went to the crafting cave (aka the basement) and created another card!
I used several old/yet new items/techniques. Can you guess??? Yep… Lovely as a Tree (timeless stamp set), mirroring technique (using a window sheet), staggered banners (thinlits) & softly falling embossing folder (thanks big shot)!
Where I live, just north of Atlanta GA, we don’t have the “typical” winter. Oh sure we get cold, we get rain & once in a while we even get “snowmageddon” but our go to winter is crisp/cold, sunshine and clear skies & barren trees (except for the pines). So I got to work on my “Georgia Winter” card. All that was left was a sentiment… and for the life of me I could not find a stamp that I wanted… so I created “warm wishes!”
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you’ll hop along to the next stop on the blog hop, Lory Robinson at The Robin’s Nest Designs. There’s lots of inspiration to be found in this group – and you don’t want to miss it!
Now… back to bed!
Enjoy & stay warm,
Karen

So pretty. This does look like a GA winter! Thanks for sharing!
This is Beautiful! I glad to know that I’m not the only sane one around … Watch out for the snowmageddon it will swipe your current sane state…. Happy Winter
Karen – You are right. This card is not very “Georgia,” but it’s very beautiful! I love the texture you’ve created and your willingness to get out of bed to recreate. 🙂 Thanks for hopping with us.
