Joy!!! Choose Joy… I did… do you???

Choose Joy!!! At this stage in my life, I want more joy and I find it helps me to be in fit spiritual condition!!! In September, with 16+ years with one school, I called it quits. After having some time to reflect on the “reasons” here is what I discovered. I did not leave because I didn’t like the students, quite the opposite, I love and miss them. Nope, I didn’t leave because of the faculty, as they are some of the finest men and women I have had the pleasure to meet. And, no I did not leave because of the admin team, as they have a difficult job on a good day!...

attending a marriage retreat…

No, no, no – not us!!! Last Saturday, a dear friend asked me to assist her with an engaged couples at our parish”building your marriage before it starts” retreat. No, not as a presenter, definitely not as an example, but instead as extra set of hands for setup and cleanup. The beauty of this is that I get to listen to a fantastic marriage retreat – for free! purpose, reason, reward…

I discovered this on my photo roll on my phone today, created by i believe.com, and I felt compelled to write about the words posted on this particular photo! day of prayer…

For my fellow Catholics, as January 22nd falls on a Sunday this year, the observance of the National Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children will be observed throughout the United States on Monday, January 23rd. This designation comes from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop and is stated in the General Instructions of the Roman Missal. Please consider joining me in the comfort of your own home, on the way to work, at lunch, during a break today and pray the rosary for the Legal Protection of the Unborn Children. For those of you who are not Catholic,...

2nd chances & unconditional love…

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) “No matter what you do, God loves you. He will forgive you. He believes in second chances and hundreds more, if you need them. Be quick to forgive and pray for a forgiving spirit. How would your life change if you loved unconditionally?“ Today, while wandering around...
