alternatives, you decide…

Today let’s chat about alternatives… al·ter·na·tive ôlˈtərnədiv adjective 1. (of one or more things) available as another possibility. This morning, like every morning, I get to chose the way I begin the day. So this morning I woke up early (I’m semi-retired… why the heck would I do that?) to walk with a friend. As it turns out, after a recent doctors visit I was given news that I needed to make some changes for my health, so the decision was made to walk. memorial day weekend…

This weekend, all across the US, people are getting ready for the long weekend. The schools are out (or almost), teachers & students everywhere jump for joy!  And the lazy days of summer are upon us. Many baseball games will be well attended over the weekend & our beloved SEC has 8 teams in the softball Super Regionals – War Eagle! TB & I have been married 26.5 years and we attended a similar retreat before we married. Did I listen? Not so much as I knew everything they were talking about – after all I had been married before (that should...

Please consider joining me in the comfort of your own home, on the way to work, at lunch, during a break today and pray the rosary for the Legal Protection of the Unborn Children. For those of you who are not Catholic,...

inauguration day…

Prayer for Our Nation Almighty God, Bless our nation and make it true to the ideas of freedom and justice and brotherhood for all who make it great. Guard us from war, from fire and wind, from compromise, fear, confusion. Be close to our president and our statesmen; give them vision and courage, as they ponder decisions affecting peace and the future of the world. Make me more deeply aware of my heritage; realizing not only my rights but also my duties and responsibilities as a citizen. Make this great land and all its people know clearly Your will, that they may...
