this fun little “get well soon” card was created using Silhouette Studio and is our “Make It Monday” feature!

One of our nieces is in the hospital and thank goodness on the road to recovery. Her sister wanted to create a card for her, soooooo Silhouette Print and Cut to the rescue!!!

Megan’s favorite animal is a panda therefore we wanted to create a panda card. Kim and I found an image we liked and began building on that image. Kim thought that we needed to add a tear, and a bandaid. I thought we should add some nourishment (aka bamboo).

Once we were happy with the design, we used the text to path tool to curve the words, add her name, and create an offset. We made sure to add the registration marks. Hint: use the m key to toggle on the registration marks and this will save you a few steps. Then we printed the image, placed the printed page on our mat and sent the item to be cut. Just like that, we had this adorable little panda card front!

Because we all want a little something extra we added a little copper thread. Then we adhered pop dots and voila we were done!

Kim penned a beautiful note and as an added bonus the bamboo featured on the card was duplicated and we added it along the left side of the envelope 🙂

Classes to learn how to create your own print and cut creations (Silhouette Studio or Cricut Design Space) can be found here on my class schedule. If you wish to gather with a group of friends and create just let me know!

Until next Monday – PAX,
