WEDDING KIDS…
We had a lot of fun creating these adorable wedding kids: flower girl & ring security “asks.”
As most of you know by now… Emily and Michael are getting married! The wedding date is set for April 28, 2018 and as we prepare for the exciting months and weeks ahead, we are having fun creating custom items/gifts along the way!
Inspiration…
As you know Pinterest and a basic Google search will provide you with MANY ideas. All you really need is to know is what to look for 🙂  I knew that I wanted something that would be interactive for the kids, but also something I could use my with my Silhouette machines.
I ordered 12 pc blank puzzles from amazon and put my Silhouette Curio and the Silhouette pens to work. The wording for the ring security and the flower girls was left open (as opposed to filling it in) so that the kids could color their puzzles. And an 8ct package of crayons was included with the puzzle to complete the fun.
Once wedding ask puzzles were created and the crayons put together we needed something to put them in for delivery/mailing and that is when my other passion Stampin’ Up! came into play. We began with Stampin’ Up! acetate clear card boxes, Stampin’ Up! designer series paper, Stampin’ Up! doilies, several Stampin’ Up! punches & finally you guessed it Stampin’ Up! ribbon.
Below you will see one of the finished items. No neither of us write that pretty… we printed, using the fantastic font “Magnolia Sky,” the names and used the Stampin’ Up! 1¼” circle punch so we could layer the names.Â
Such fun… can’t wait to hear if the wedding kids have as much fun putting everything together as we did! If you find yourself in need of any of these supplies to make your own “wedding kid asks” or perhaps you don’t want to make them but would like to have them made for you… just let me know!Â
Cheers,
