Wow… I can’t begin to tell you how welcome the sound of the rain was when it began last night. Click the start arrow below to listen to the rain while you read this post (have not yet mastered the auto play).

While looking for an image to place with my post I found this Bob Marley quote … will you feel the rain or will you just get wet?

God is good!!! Thank you God for the rain… may I feel it and not just get wet!

Yes, indeed, God is good all the time… even when we don’t see it!!! I can’t imagine why there are still areas that are not receiving rain but I do have Faith in Him and His timing.

Many of us will continue to pray for the folks north of us who are still dealing with the ravages of the fire that apparently began as the result of someone… not something! I will continue to pray for the person who set the fire (be it accident or arson) as they too are a child of God… perhaps a very bad child… but a child of God none the less. Please continue to remember those brave men and women involved in battling this fire & the folks that are evacuated. May He keep them safe & reunite them with their loved ones.

Yesterday, I was stunned (but not shocked – as this is now our new norm) about the tragedy at OSU! Please remember those who were injured/killed. And let us thank God for those who are safe! I continue to pray that this new norm becomes a thing of the past… and quickly. I don’t know what the answer is… but I will continue to pray! I pray especially for the OSU officer, that in the course of walking the thin blue line & protecting others, took the life of another. May he heal completely from this event, and be surrounded by those that love & support him!

I am reminded many times throughout the day that many are dealing with tragedy of their own. Perhaps I learned the news through social media, a text or a phone call, please know that I will continue to pray for your peace along the journey! And I ask that you consider keeping our family in your prayers!

Looking for a good prayer during this time of weirdness in our lives? Try this on on for size…

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

Be safe y’all – Atlanta folks don’t really know how to drive in the rain (or snow) and since rain is such a novelty these days I am sure the next few days will be a mess!

God bless, be safe & love one another!
