After creating and sending the super fun Valentine’s Heart banner created with last month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit to my daughter at Auburn (see post 15 FEB 16). I decided to attempt a Shamrock banner for her to hang up for March!
Here is what I came up with…
As the song 40 Shades of Green, written in 1961 by Johnny Cash speaks of the lovely colors of Ireland… I though it appropriate that I try to use almost as many – just kidding (but I did use quite a few greens)!
The pear pizzaz 3 1/2″ circle plays back drop for the 3 old olive sweetheart punch gearts and itty bitty heart punchouts again from pear pizzaz. Topped with wild wasabi seam binding, stapled in place & a gold mini clothespin to finish it off. The grass (pitiful as it is) along with the stems and hearts (on the pear pizzaz) were added using my old olive stampin’ write marker.
The word March is a tbt (who knows when/where/what company)as well as the Shamrock stamp on the that same circle (oldies but goodies), however, the whisper white hearts were punched using the owl builder punch. This will all be hung up on the old olive thick bakers twine.
