Earlier this week, at work, we received a lovely post card from an alumnus. Basically saying hello and sending well wishes from Switzerland where he is currently in University. It is not often that students reach out to their former high school so I wanted to send a quick note. I decided to go through my stash and see what I might have handy for a male that wasn’t birthday/holiday/sympathy and this is what I came up with…
As I typically write more than I intend I added a liftable flap to the inside of the card to allow for more white space. The card base is old olive, I also used whisper white for the sentiment as well as the inside. The image on the front is from “sheltering tree” and the inside leaves are from “perpetual birthday” and the silver strip behind the image on the front of the card is the silver foil adhesive tape that you can pick up at your local hardware store – used with HVAC duct work (run through my Big Shot with a TIEF). Easy peasy!
I am still trying to get a handle on this blog thing… and will take any and all tips for what needs to be included, removed, improved, etc.
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
